8 years ?!

http://www.bnm.gov.my/index.php?ch=8&pg=14&ac=1644

"On 18 June 2008, Khazanah Nasional Berhad (Khazanah) issued a media statement on the resignation of the Governor of Bank Negara Malaysia from its Board. The Governor of Bank Negara Malaysia was appointed to the Board of Khazanah on 10 July 2000."
"The Governor's decision to resign from the Board of Khazanah is to avoid any potential conflict of interest arising from the Central Bank's role as the financial supervisory and regulatory authority."

cooooooooool, it took 8 years to know that.

wot a load of ....... do they take us for fools?!

boy am i disappointed today.
first thing is the old story of a too high monopoly/majority in Parliament, enabling some people to swing stuff to their side.

then there the issue of not being able to use credit cards at the gas pump?!
read http://www.nst.com.my/Current_News/NST/Tuesday/National/2275720/Article/index_html

so now i've got to carry cash? ouch.
and even worse
"Abdul Wahid said the association appreciated the government's move to allow petrol stations to operate only from 6am to 11pm, instead of the present 24 hours a day."

way to go , what about those dudes who work the night shift? i'll have 1 jerry can thank you very much.
so now every malaysian's movement is limited to less than 20 hours a day. great.
the next level of support statement " our systems run 20X7@365"

and whats more , this dude says "
"It is a cost-effective move because we do not have many sales outside these hours."
if the machine worked properly , you dont need anyone at the pump. the year is 2008 not 1908.
use some technology. we send our 'smart' people to the US and UK and even the moon and they can't come up with something to get us running properly.

and then theres another 'smart fellow'
Rojak stall is the answer
"Omar Osman said they could open rojak and pisang goreng stalls at night markets and pasar tani to supplement their income."

if thats as creative as he can go for a top governemnt official , then i guess the government recruitemnt and HR dept has got some issues. how in the world did such a simple minded 'genius' come to sit in such a position?

we need someone like this.

if they can't perform, replace them

well, i'm not too done with the fuel thingy yet.
check out this article
"A 55-litre metal cylinder will cost RM1,500 and would tip the scales at 65kg.

A composite cylinder of the same weight would cost RM4,500 and weigh about 38kg.

A 55-litre semi-composite cylinder would be the mid- range of the two, costing RM2,500 and weighing 46kg."

do you have RM1,500? i dont.

to make matters worse Dewan Rakyat: 'RM1,500 level will push poverty rate to 24pc'
"The basics are food, clothes and other expenses like rental, utilities, transport and communication, health, education and recreation." all for rm1500?
yeah right. i may be green but i am not cabbage.
ok, maybe if he lives on super economy mode.
but 24% poverty rate?
that would mean that 4 out of 10 malaysians are considered poor?thats 400/1000, 40000/100000, , to make the clearer 400,000/1,000,000 are left out.
now if 400,000 people were to walk into putrajaya...... erm, putrajaya doesnt have 400,000 people i think

the only way to let these people really understand that we're being mis-managed/cheated/being taken for a ride without the use of gas, is if a clear and coherent message is being sent to cause them to finally realize that the people are in control, the people , not some people.
