sick as a dog

on wednesday i was feeling abit fever-ish in the ofice, feeling chilly and and all. so i left the office early and came home. Chris was taking the day off to rest .

and after about 30 minutes sitting down , i was trying to cool down but instead the body temp was rising. dizzy and fever, high fever. called the DR, my dr was in so off went , chris drove.

high fever + sore throat + body aches

and i got a load of anti biotics and other pills to take. got 2 days medical.

the fever is gone now,. but the sore throat is still there and theres a lotta phlegm that comes with this sore throat. not good.
and today , i feel that it gets very painful when i talk, so i'm just gonna keep quiet and talk to chris like how we talked when i removed my wisdom tooth last time.
not good.
its itchy if i just sit down quietly,painful when i breath hard, when i sip water, when i talk. its worse when i eat.

this morning i went over to a chinese physician to have some alternate medicine since the ones i got on thurday just got me drowsy and did not work too well.
and tommorow is a holiday. why do i have to get sick during the holidays. holidays are my time. i should get sick during work days on company time :)
not on weekends or public holidays.

but then again , from what heard , its a bug which is miving around the country. you see, we've been having hot heat from the mornings all the way to 5 pm and then it rains, pours down like a water fall and floods some areas.

so when this happens , all sort of bacteria and bad things happen. or so i was told.
this sort of thing has happend to me once. aout lets see, 7 or eight years back. i was on the bed for a week and could not walk. got better and ran around for 10 days and got sick again for typhoid. no no no . i dont need to go down that path again. i nearly died on that one thank you very much

but anyway ....
as far as the baby is concerned, baby is fine, rowing and being a kung fu fighter in chris's tummy.

when we watch tv , chris shows me the movements of her tummy , cute :)

now , although i was sick , i did pull myself together to go for the baby class thingy. saturdays class was all about breast feeding and baby's milk needs.

chris is excited , i'm excited, less than 10 weeks to go till baby comes along :)

but i'm so lucky to have chris take care of me while i sit here coughing till i run out of air and nearly faint.

i dont know what i'd do without you b. thank you

a slow weekend.....

havent been doing much lately.
on friday me and Anwar drove to KL airport to buy some burger king.
on the way back we stopped at a bike shop and i asked about the price of a moped.
so the guy says RM950 , a few people had asked for it but no1 put a deposit on it yet.
ok so back to work and have my burger.

on saturday i go to the shop , , RM950 sounds good, and suddenly the price is rm1200.

i was gonna ask him if theres the word 'idiot' on my forehead.

how are they doing bussiness like this?

but anyway, if its worth so much to the person , that means they are not willing to part with it.
and i'm not willing o part from my cash either. :)

bought some baby stuff on the weekend. A RUBBER DUCKY. :)

and also when we were in Jusco, i bought one of those buble guns for RM10. and i tell you the thing is fun. no more blowing :)

the daily showers

No this is not about me in the shower but its the rain. Oh the wonderful rain. I put some rain x on the car and 2 showers later it seems like it never had any rain x. But check out the rain. At some parts the droplets were sideways.
Now if i was on the bike........ I think i'll be having fun. Maybe not cause of them lousy in the wet dunlops that came with the versys.
Waiting for time to switch to bridgestones. Oh n the money.

baby checkup

This was taken last week. Chris had another checkup yon saturday but at the delivery center.
they have some cool computers there. By selecting some points in the scan image, they can tell the age and weight of the baby. Currently baby is at 1.3kg or 1.6 but there abouts. Dr says baby will most probably be 3.4kg by the time baby comes out. Also baby was shy to show her face. And dr says that its a 99.99% chance its a girl.

Antenatal classes

today was the first session and all i can say for now is that its worth each and every dollar spent.

the person conducting the class was a mid-wife who's got more than 28 years experience and has worked in some western countries ( UK i think ).

and i can tell that she's not wasting anyones time and knows what she's talking about.

todays calss is the first of four and she explained whats been going on in the wife's body from the first month all the way to 3 months after birth. in detail.

ok some of you may wonder what i'm doing in the class or why both of us signed up.
well, the main idea i signed us up for the class was so that Chris would have an idea of what to expect and know what are the signs of stuff going wrong.

and tell you what, the course today did exactly that. hit the nail right on the head.
we havent touched base on the actual giving birth process,thats reserved for the next class but the booklet she gave has got already written notes and also charts which would keep a record of baby's behaviour while in the tummy, which in turn might help the doctor in the diagnosis if things go out of hand. hey, having accurate data is better than guessing right?

and to you about-to-be fathers, dont think that being in this class does not need your attention. she'll tell you where you should play your part and help out.

not too bad consisdering i could have slept through this morning since it rained.

Last night i didnt even want to bother about the tv. This morning when i woke up, i took the magnet found in my tank bag and swirled it on the screen while its on. Turned it off and made a coffee.
Came back, turned it on..... And well, road runner brings some cool memories doesnt it?

pizza dough...

Today we had a craving for pizza.
And this pizza is gonna have a twist to it, i m not buying. Wait , i can't buy a pork bacon pizza now can i?

so we went online got the recipew headed off to carrefor and here we are so far. Letting it set.

breakfast... need to buy i guess, i think i will walk to market and buy some ... yes walk.

i have begun to walk around my housing area as exercise. quite good but i dont go sweating like a pig. not good. i need to sweat.

its kind of funny , as a kid in school, i used to run , and i mean forrest gump kinda run from point a to b. if i'm not on my feet , i'm on my bicycle. and man could i sweat back then

but now..... i find that its hard to sweat out. i must be old.....

on another note, i've been assigned the task of setting up 2 baby cribs.
yes ma'am.
also on the list tommorow is to put the hand-me-down baby clothing to wash.
hope the sun shines well tommorow , early in the morning, wait i'm walking, i'll get darker.... oh... i wont be fair... yeah right, clint, scared of the sun...... shine sun. shine bright.... i need all the sun light tommorow. need the clothes to get dry then we can dry baby clothes :)

other than that its just to laze around. not many Malay firends leeft in KL, all of them are on exodous mode. the 14 i think are economically inbalanced :)

anyways, anyday spent with my darling is' a lovely day'... ( no i dont work for digi )
