why i think he's the man for the job

read
http://www.baylor.edu/bbr/index.php?id=43415
1. Build a plan.
havent heard of a good one lately from the current country's admin
2. Align yourself with the best people on the planet to help you get the job done.
most of them are too old , rich and unmotivated to serve
3. Make things as simple as possible.
too old fashioned thinking, they dont surf...... or else they'd know what the people are complaining about.
4. Lead. Lead, not manage.
the dudes here are asleep!
5. Make sure the people who report to you know what you value.
mmmmmmmmmmmm

$$$$$$$$$$$$ down the drain

Sub-standard equipment that was a waste of taxpayers’ money

this is totally cool. for once , the cries of the little guys down below has surfaced against all the downward preassure to keep this sort of thing under the radar. this should have been an ongoing thing no?

i'm sure this has been going on for quite some time. but has been kept down low by some. but thats my guess.

issue is, MY money is being used to buy stuff which might KILL some1 while some one else takes the difference and then spend MY money on whatever THEY want, while I am sadly getting poorer by the month because the fuel hike and other prices have gone up , making MY salary worth next to nothing.

i dont mind paying taxes. but it just hurts that what is cut from MY salary goes into some greedy but enterprising idiot's pocket and not being used as its supposed to.
worse off still is when the service from any of the government counters suck like hell.

i know who we need in Malaysia.
forget Mahathir, forget Badawi, or Najib or even Anwar, we need some one who is strong, some one with vision,
some one who know where , what and when to cut the cord.
i have some one in mind.

who am i talking about ? this guy
i knowsome of you must be laughing your heads off, but things here are getting a little out of hand.

its time to trim the fat

another disturbing post.....

Police investigating RM100mil logistics fraud bid

uncovered attempts by unscrupulous suppliers to cheat it in the supply of equipment worth more than RM100mil.

time for a clean up i guess? or is it just an excuse for a clean up? with the things going on everyday, you just dont know who to believe any more

a different kind of a ride..... which sucks

no , this does not have anything to do with bikes or cars.
but reading todays paper , with the article's title

Government says yes to bus fare hike

when the price of gas went up , each and everyone whent :( ,
first question was, its gonna be too expensive for me to get to work , how do i move around?

Government and NGO's said : take public transport.

and now?

i wonder who is running the show here.

either way , the people who get the shorter side of the stick are the little people, you and me

just another monday.,................

what more can i say its monday. not too boring, not too busy.

some how , after so many years, the habit of having coffee is coming back.... hmm.

anyway after work, i came home , started folding some prayer papers for the chinese hungry ghost festival.

lots to offer the ancestors with belief that they might help guide the living. so they say.

i say, if its true , i'm cool with that, if its not, i sure have a real good time seeing the stuff catch fire.
so far 2 plastic bags, 4 bundles, 6 more bundles to go.

if you wanna bribe the ancestors , better do it well. inflation up there must be bad.

imagine, for the chinese , the after life is being administered by hell. although you;re good and go to heaven. all their mail, financial accounts and gifts have to go through strict checks in hell before the stuff gets shipped to the receipint in heaven. hence the bank of hell notes

what a cool concept.

so, hell and heaven, having such a huge amount of visitors, must have quite a big economy.
whether its as corrupted or not, i dont know, no1 came back to tell us.

since the gates of hell have been opened today, and all the spirits have a free pass to come into our world and visit, lets all be more careful on the road.

belief has it that during this time 'some' spirits might cause terror so that they can re-live life here.

this morning alone , 3 accidents on the way to work. not a good sign. ok back to folding paper...until i fall a sleep

a ride through .....

was feeling abit down this week due to last weeks problems. and whats the best way to make all these silly stuff poof into the thin air?

a ride.

so today , after waking up and going for breakfast/brunch/lunch we went to jusco , again to buy some reading materials and came home.

i went through my bike magazine and let all the food settle in my tummy. once that was done,
i plugged in my headphones to my phone , one the blue tooth and then sports tracker.
kissed my darling wife good bye and then jumped on the bike. first stop, esso, need some air in the tyres.

once that was done......
let the picture below tell you where i went until 5pm+
gosh , didnt quite realize that Nilai was quite a big town. lots of round abouts :) and the road to seremban was nice.

lots of fruit stalls. however, if it wasnt durians, its mangosteens and if its not then its rambutans, or a combination.

didnt even bother to stop
just enjoyed the ride.

i needed some twistier stuff but the stuff today just proved to me how good the versys actually is on corners. i just wonder how this thing will perform with a set of bridestones instead of dunlops.

now now , i didnt balst the life out of it. 130kmh was the fastest i went on this trip. partly because i dont quite know the roads , yet.

thanks to my bb darling wife who suggested the ride today. i really wonder where i'd be without her.

chris and clint's adventure in the baby section

The images depict our adventure of finding out the cost of some of the baby stuff stacked in jusco's baby section. Can this be the begining of similar adventures in giant and carrefour?

keep tuned. According to custom, we cant buy anything yet. Only after two more months.
Alot to buy.

i wonder how much cheaper those baby stuff warehouse sales would be. Most of all i hope that there would be some in 2 months time.
So if you guys have any info , jabber me call me.

cool lego reminds me of my childhood

Was walking in jusco last night. Cool lego toys but the prices were out of this world. I saw a set worth rm400. This things are not made of gold!
Maybe abs plastic which is taxed.

most easily abused.....

i remember when i started out working as a junior tech guy in several local companies.
i'd curse and swear everyday because i had to do some stuff which does not have anything to do with my job.

and somehow later on, i found out that i'm not alone.

just because we're nice helpful technical guys who help from time to time doesnt mean that we can be stamped all over the place.

and just because we helped once does not mean we need to help always.
of course multi national company staff would not really have this problem right? or do they?

my little mis-adventure

yesterday really tested me and me versys.
since chris wasnt feeling too good , i told her to saty at home and rest while i hop in the bike and ride to work.
work went on like normal, but i left at 5:45 , made a stop at the lousy pertonas in cyberjaya and then rode onto the e20 towards PJ , jalan gasing.
some how or another, i missed the turn out to bangsar/subang/jln kuchai lama ( why can't theny just write PJ there? ) and guess where i ended up? KL , jln tun abd razak. ouch.....
so i ride to the nearest place where i can turn back. no way am i gonna do an accross kl town trip.

so i ride back thinking there would be an exit to subang/bangsar, nope, there aint, next stop , bukit jalil !
ok bukit jalil it is, but when i exit i cant get on it at bukit jalil what!?
so i turn off to jalan sungai besi, cut pass the nirvana memorial and then onto the federal highway, and all of this was done during ruch hour and heavy traffic.

and then passed midvalley and turned out to jalan gasing. did what i needed to do , then the schools around the area just let out all of the kids. argh..... jammmmm

then i decided to use the fedral highways bike lane to get to berkley in klang to buy dinner for me and chris.
the jam on the car lanes were bumbper to bumper.
bike lane was crowded but bike were doing 80 to 100kmh so it wasnt too bad.
when i came to subang i misread the sign board and ended up heading towards glenmarie.... so i then used the other nkve hgihway. quite heavy traffic but 110kmh was doable without any heriocs.

once i exit the klang exit i headed to berkley and bought some good rice and curry, and headed home. it was jammed as well. the chinese shchool just let out heir kids. argh....

when i reached home, i was a little worn out. the heat and the travelling and not enoght sleep. mmmmmm

anyway , to just illustrate how big my misadventure was , see the picture below. the purple line shows my route yesterday, the yellow one shows my normal route and the blue one are highways and red ones are federal highways.

sucks doesnt it?

but the part which got me most was the way they built the kl putrajaya highway. some parts have only entry points but no exits and some have exits only but no entry points....
see the highwya company's website. gateway to the nation their head.

  1. Kg. Pandan Roundabout Interchange - Entry & Exit ramps at Jln Tun Razak and Kg Pandan Roundabout
  2. Salak South Interchange - Entry ramps at East West Link (to Putrajaya only)
  3. Kuchai Lama Interchange - Entry & Exit ramps at Jalan Kuchai Lama (to Putrajaya only)
  4. Bukit Jalil Interchange - Entry & Exit ramps at Kesas Highway
  5. Putrajaya Link Interchange - Entry & Exit ramps from Cyberjaya, Putrajaya, KLIA (via North South Central Link)
to see a map of the thing taken from their website

sucks. i am aware that this trip wasnt as big or adventurous as charley and ewans long way round trip, but this is nearly the same thing except is scaled down, by alot.

in the paper today......

since everything is running fine and all i have today is discussions , i'm gonna use some of the free time to update my friends beyond the Malaysian borders.

Cab rates to increase

and we're supposed to park our cars at home and take on the public transport. yeah right.

putting more fuel to the flame,

Drive national cars, says DPM

"This was a longstanding policy and the Cabinet would, therefore, meet to discuss why Terengganu found it necessary to spend RM3.43mil to buy 14 Mercedes E200 Kompressor cars."

3.34 millon for 14 cars?
not too bad a deal.... i wonder who made the sale/purchase.....

“I use national cars and the Prime Minister uses national cars, too,” he told

yeah... you didnt buy em and if you did, you'd be on the heat.
we're here suffering and cursing everyone who agrees with the price hike each and everytime there is a jam , when we're pumping gas , or are told that the price of an item has gone up.

whats been going on ?
well,
aout 2 weeks ago , chris had the craving for fish and chips.
so here i was on the phone with andwar and Udish, checking out the places with a decent tasting and decent priced portion of fish and chips. so far as far i can remember , if its eating out, the places with an ok portion of it would be swensens, Manhattan fish market , chilis and a few other places. problem is , we've tried them all, and they dont d the fish any justince.
so on sunday we went to carrefour. grabbed the potatoes and other stuff, looked for the fish stakes ( which are way better than fillets IMHO) but then, no stakes, dory fillets only. damn.....
dory is better than no fish.
so we made the batter and crushed the biscuits and deep fried the stuff. not too bad. potato wedges and fish. but the fish didnt quite rise to the challenge. we'll its ok to eat fish cause they dont have any feelings . so i guess , its gonna be fish this weekend too.

i will try to wake up early this weekend, i did last week, and did the laundry so that chris could catch more needed Z's . but as soon as the wash was half way thorugh ... it rained, i can't dry my clothes, i can't go to market....... ouch

what else did we do during the weekend?

we went to Sri pandi ( aka pandi pandi to my brother ) to meet up with my brothers.
i skipped the banana leaf thingy and opted for tandoori chicken instead. talking about tandoori ,
i found a place near my house which has some of it. looks quite good. will give it a try in the future.

i rode my bike. did some mode to the throttle bodies. smoother ride i must say, but the slight vibes in the bars is still there.

was also looking for a decent bike cover. not in stock :(
a rather productive weekend i must say.

but other than that , i'm just busy making chris comfortable with her pregnancy. come december , i'll give up my name teddy bear to be daddy bear........

i took chris for some coconut water on sunday before heading for my gym workout. and while she was drinking , i told her i'd treat her to some mac n cheese @ kenny rogers roasters. the smile, that instant smile on her face. it made me fall in love even more.

whats new this friday?

lets see.....
more biker accidents recorded
this is what hapens when the fuel prices goes up, combined with a soaring high toll rate, people dump their cars and get on their bikes and ride. who cares about the inefficient and non existant public transport system? they want to not soend more money that they dont have. so they try to save. and since they havent been riding for some time and also they still think they are driving, they get invlved in accidents and get/or go out causing injuries or worse, kill or be killed.

and it was announced on the news that DNA which is older than 10 years is not good to be used for cases...... interesting....
dont they get the output onto those plastic like sheets where they look like shaded bar codes and never change through the course of time?
or does a persons dna change from time to time? mutation perhaps? hope the CSI personel around the world have a good laugh from it.

or maybe malaysian scientists are at the fore front of a scientific break through on this matter... but then again.... i dont think so.

internet bandwidth is again even worse now as more people were taking the easy friday getting ready for the weekend by reading blogs and articles , not to mention the recorded fuel debate on video sites about yes, fuel and the politics going on. and belive me , alot has been going on since monday.
to tell you the truth , the debate was one of the best shows of malaysian produced television. tooo too bad it was a 1 hour program.
or else we'd see a government minister get slapped silly by a govermental outcast.... because it was just an hour, he just got some bad hits here and there instead of the full 'whose your daddy' treatment...... but the viewers were treated with a sneak peek. priceless.....

sat in a brand new honda accord oday .. brand new one. smelt good , but the handling..... oh the handling...... terrible. and he says the camry is worse..... and it gets me guessing, why do people buy these things for such a price when it behaves like a horse wagon in corners??

not to diss my friend or his father for that matter but i then realized that i dont quite see these things whizzing around.... explains alot. people in penang island drive em, but then on penang island , u cant hit >80kmh longer than 15 seconds.

all these japanese cars need is a good suspension job..... at least a change of the springs. Eibach? yeah......

chris's car doesnt need such a mod since i dont push it so hard since its not my car, i just drive it like a good boy. ouch time for servicing tommorow. got to buy a bike cover for the versys as well, the dust and rain is collecting onthe bike. not so much the rain but the dust. i want to ride the thing, not spend time washing it. mental note, klr needs no washing.... ahahhahaahhah. versys needs to be clean.

malaysian internet bandwidth....

its all nearly maxed out. just because of 2 related issues.
1, the fuel pride reduction rebate
and 2 , about the debated who got nabbed and is now is under police care.

youtube.com and several other blogs and web sites providing alternative non mainstream news and getting visits back to back.
people want to know whats going on and they dont want to get cheated. i understand, it insults their intelligence.
whatever it is , hang in the DSAI . my prayers are for you to come out from all of this safely.

food poisoning

Yesterday me and chris went to bukit jelutong hsah alam.
she wanted to have some briani at this place mak jah's. I had fried rice, kampung style. My rice came a bit later so i had a few bites from chris's plate. Tasted ok but the spice was overkill. It wasnt hot and spice it just had too much of one spice. By 4pm we felt our tummy's were full of gas. I think the correct term is flatulence. We took a simple salad dinner and watched tv till 11 , movie was hot fuzz on hbo. Good show. I woke up at 3 and havent slept back since... One way to spend a monday.

this fridge is not so cool

Was walking with my bb and came across this ultra high tech fridge.
Yes its big and spacious but for that price? Thanks but no thanks.
But if there is a kind angel soul who would get me one for christmas, by all means, you are much welcome to do so
