pork sausages and a Durian Dinner....

as mentioned in the previous post , i went to the doctors on Saturday morning, what i forgot to mention was that i had to fast since friday night because i wanted to do a blood test.

why a blood test?

i have never done 1
i don't know my blood type
i want to know whats going on in my blood ( sugar levels,etc )

so Dr took some 10cc's of my blood and it should be in the lab right now i think.

and since the Dr only opened at 10am, i couldnt have breakfast.
to make matters worse, i could not sleep through the fast because some smart person decides to send an sms to my company line at 7 AM!
i spent the 3 hours checking email and stuff.

so after the Dr's it was straight to the bak kut teh shop . PORK , yummy.
so we call for 3, Chris , Pauline and I but then halfway through Pauline said she was full and then later on chris said she was full, so guess who had to not let the PIG die in vain? :)

anyway , that was breakfast, brunch and lunch all together in 1.

then we shot off to KL to find some book for Pauline and ended up @ the curve. the traffic, oh the traffic. wish i had my bike. but i think even with the bike , it would still be jammed , but not as bad. i dont know how people can stay in PJ.

oh and i found out the the versys was voted as 'Motorcyclist Motorcycle of the year 2008' :)

so anyway, we then fired up the grill and had sausages and chicken wings. sat around the fire and enjoyed a nice time.

Next morning was un eventful, nothing but rest, then in the evening , my eldest brother Hillary shows up with the Mrs and we watch the telly for a while and suddenly Chris wants to eat Durian, Ester says she want to , so we jump in the car on a durian hunt.

to make the long story short , we ate on average 1 fruit per person :)
no i did not need dinner after that.
now i cant sleep because its heaty and its like a furnace in my body. but it was worth it i guess....
because my darling got to eat her durian :)
